  1. Funding Overview:<\/strong><\/li>

  2. \u00a0<\/p>

    This funding program supports innovation research relating with marine technology including electronic technology, engineering, biotechnology, marine pollution monitoring and control and\u00a0Natural Gas Hydrate.<\/p>

    \u00a0<\/p>

    This funding provides funding for general programs and key programs with a total of\u00a01,000,000 yuan \u2013 20,000,000 yuan\u00a0for each program.<\/p>

    \u00a0<\/p>

    1. Application Requirements:<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>

      \u00a0<\/p>

      1. The project investigator must have a professional title of vice-senior or above (aged under 60). And the applicants who have the experience of undertaking the special projects for promoting marine<\/li>
      2. economic development in 2018 (in use of marine economic development) and the main participants of the project team (the first three contributors) shall not participate in this special project this year.<\/li><\/ol>

        \u00a0<\/p>

        1. This program includes key projects and general projects. Key projects require joint application submitted by members of Guangdong Ocean Innovation Alliance, marine-related enterprises, research institutes, universities (including central government-led institutions in Guangdong). Collaboration with each other is encouraged. The general projects should be submitted by the national and provincial key marine-related enterprises and institutions, Guangdong Ocean Innovation Alliance members and research institutes (including central government-led institutions in Guangdong).<\/li><\/ol>

          \u00a0<\/p>

          1. The key projects encourage collaborative application, but the number of collaborative institutions cannot exceed three. The institutions must sign a cooperation agreement with each other.<\/li><\/ol>

            \u00a0<\/p>

            1. The project duration is generally 2 years.<\/li><\/ol>

              \u00a0<\/p>

              1. Application materials:<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>

                \u00a0<\/p>

                (1) Project Application Form;<\/p>

                \u00a0<\/p>

                (2) Feasibility Report;<\/p>

                \u00a0<\/p>

                (3) The legal person certificate of the host institution and collaborative institution, the job title certificate for the PI, etc.;<\/p>

                \u00a0<\/p>

                (4) The balance sheet and profit and loss statement of the host institution and the collaborative institution for the past 3 years (the enterprises shall provide the audited financial statements);<\/p>

                \u00a0<\/p>

                (5) Other attachments, including: publication report, relevant achievement and award certificate,<\/p>

                related product certificate, industry-related certificate, certificate for matched supportive funding for the proposed project, etc.<\/p>

                  The funding program requires application in written proposal.
