Overview<\/strong><\/p>

The fund supports interdisciplinary research on reaction kinetics of wide range combustion, complex turbulence and combustion interactions in confined spaces and combustion and combustion stability under extreme conditions.<\/p>

How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>

Applicants should log in to ISIS (https:\/\/isisn.nsfc.gov.cn\/<\/a>\u00a0) to complete application form online.<\/p>

The funding category should be \u201cMajor Research Program\u201d; the subcategory should be \u201cKey Supporting Project\u201d or \u201cDevelopment Project\u201d and the annotation should be \u201cResearches on Turbulent Combustion in Engines\u201d.<\/p>

Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>

1.\u00a0 The applicant should have\u00a0<\/a>experience of undertaking\u00a0<\/a>fundamental research\u00a0topic or other experience on fundamental research.<\/p>

2.\u00a0The applicant should have high professional technical positions(titles).<\/p>

On-station postdoctoral personnel and graduate students are not eligible for the project.<\/p>

Award Information<\/strong><\/p>

Project Duration:<\/strong>\u00a03 years for Development Project, from January 1 2018 to December 31 2020; 4 years for Key Supporting Projects, from January 1, 2018 \u2013 December 31, 2021.<\/p>

Award Size:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/a><\/a>600,000-800,000(600 thousand-800 thousand) Yuan for each \u201cDevelopment Project\u201d; 3,000,000(3 million) Yuan for each \u201cKey Supporting Project\u201d<\/p>

Proposal Submission<\/strong><\/p>

The proposal should be submitted online during August 28, 2017-September 1, 2017, 16:00. And the application form should be printed and sealed by host institution and be sent to Material Reception Office of NSFC, 83 Shuangqing Road, Haidian District (Room 101 in Administration Building) with official letter issued by host institution and a list for applied projects before September 1, 2017, 16:00.<\/p>

The Host Institution<\/strong><\/p>

There shall be no more than 2 cooperative research institutions for the development projects and key supporting projects.<\/p>
