Overview<\/strong><\/p>

The fund supports Major Research Programs on the paradigm and mechanism of large data driven management and decision-making paradigm, governance mechanism design and collaborative management of large data resources and theory and method of value discovery of large data oriented by domain.<\/p>

How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>

The applicant should log in to ISIS system and fill in the application form online. The funding category should be selected as \u201cMajor Research Program\u201d; the subcategory should be selected as \u201ckey supporting project\u201d, \u201cintegrated project\u201d or \u201cdevelopment project\u201d; the annotation should be \u201cLarge-data-driven Management and Decision Making\u201d.<\/p>

Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>

1.\u00a0 The applicant should have experience of undertaking fundamental research topic or other experience on fundamental research.<\/p>

2.\u00a0The applicant should have high professional technical positions(titles).<\/p>

On-station postdoctoral research fellows, graduate students, unemployed personnel or personnel whose institution is not host institution are not eligible for the project.<\/p>

Award Information<\/strong><\/p>

Project Duration:\u00a0<\/strong>3 years for \u201cDevelopment Project\u201d, from January 1, 2018-December 31, 2019;<\/p>

4 years for \u201cKey Supporting Project\u201d, from January 1, 2018- December 31, 2021; 4 years for \u201cIntegrated Project\u201d, from January 1, 2018-December 31,2021.<\/p>

Award Size:<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>4,000,000-9,000,000(4 million-9 million) Yuan for each integrated project; 2,400,000 (2.4 million) Yuan for each key supporting project and 430,000(430 thousand) Yuan for each development project.<\/p>

Proposal Submission<\/strong><\/p>

The proposal should be submitted online during August 28, 2017-September 1, 2017, 16:00. And the application form should be printed and sealed by host institution and be sent to Material Reception Office of NSFC, 83 Shuangqing Road, Haidian District (Room 101 in Administration Building) with official letter issued by host institution and a list for applied projects before August 18, 2017, 16:00.<\/p>

The Host Institution<\/strong><\/p>

There shall be no more than 2 cooperative research institutions for the development projects and key supporting projects, and the cooperative institutions of integrated projects shall include no more than 4 institutions.<\/p>
