The fund mainly supports\u00a0<\/a>physics research\u00a0and the development of physics talents.<\/p>

How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>

The application form should be filled in as the format: 1. The funding category should be selected as Emergency Management Program 2. The subcategory should be selected as Comprehensive Management Project in Department of Mathematical & Physical Sciences 3. Annotation should be selected as science and technology activity project (special fund for theoretical physics) 4. Application Code should be filled: A05 5. The project category should be stated in the beginning of the body of the application form as: \u201cStart Project for Theoretical Physics Doctoral Research Personnel\u201d or \u201cTheoretical Physics Frontier Seminars in Summer\u201d 6.The body should be composed as the requirement of composition outline of application form for special fund for theoretical physics.<\/p>

Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>

Start Project for Theoretical Physics Doctoral Research Personnel:
1.\u00a0The host institution should be non-985 higher educational institution and non-Academy of China system institution.<\/p>

2.\u00a0 The applicant should be\u00a0<\/a>less than 35\u00a0(born after January 1, 1982)<\/p>

  1. Research personnel\u00a0<\/a>received doctoral degree in recent 3 years\u00a0working on theoretical physics research (date on certificate: January 1, 2014 – December 31, 2016). The application form should be attached with copy of certificate of doctor degree, date of receiving doctoral degree, the name of the mentor and the topic of the thesis for doctoral degree.<\/li>
  2. The applicant should not have held science foundation project.<\/li>
  3. The applicant should not be on-station postdoctoral research fellows.<\/li><\/ol>

    Award Information<\/strong><\/p>

    Project Duration:\u00a0<\/strong>1 year (2018 January \u2013 2018 December)<\/p>

    Award size:\u00a0<\/strong>50,000(50 thousand) Yuan for each project<\/p>

    Proposal Submission<\/strong><\/p>

    The proposal should be filled in online. The e-version should be uploaded via ISIS system by the applicant during September 10, 2017 – September 20, 2017 16:00 and be confirmed by science and research management department in host institution. The paper proposal should be sent via EMS to Material Reception Office of NSFC, 83 Shuangqing Road, Haidian District (Room 101 in Administration Building) before September 20,2017.<\/p>
