Collection of Suggestions on Supporting Area on Major Projects of the Division of Medical Science in 2025<\/strong><\/p>

In order to further improve the establishment and funding of major types of projects, continue to strengthen the mechanism of concise scientific issues facing the major national needs and the forefront of the world’s science, adhere to the combination of top-down and bottom-up, and constantly improve the establishment mechanism of major types of projects, the Ministry of Medical Science collects suggestions for the establishment of major types of projects in the medical science field for the scientific and technological circles.<\/p>

  1. Positioning of various major types of projects<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>

    Key projects support scientific and technical personnel to carry out in-depth and systematic innovative research in view of the research direction or discipline growth point with good foundation, promote discipline development, and promote breakthroughs in some important fields or scientific frontiers.<\/p>

    Major projects are oriented to the forefront of science and major scientific issues in the major needs of national economic, social, scientific and technological development and national security, and are deployed in advance to carry out interdisciplinary research and comprehensive research, give full play to the supporting and leading role, and enhance the innovative ability of the source of basic research in China.<\/p>

    Major research projects focus on the country’s major strategic needs and major scientific frontiers, strengthen top-level design, condense scientific objectives, condense superior forces, form project clusters with relatively unified objectives or directions, promote interdisciplinary and integration, cultivate innovative talents and teams, enhance the original innovation ability of basic research in China, and provide scientific support for national economy, social development and national security.<\/p>
