How to import or subscribe to this calendar?

By using Microsoft Outlook or Outlook on the web (https://outlook.office.com), you can subscribe to our university calendar and receive automatic updates (known as an ICS subscription or an iCal subscription). You can use the same method to import other calendars from websites or calendar programs that support the .ics file format, such as Apple iCal, Google Calendar, and Mozilla Lightning.

The published .ics link of GTIIT Events is https://sites.gtiit.edu.cn/events/?mec-ical-feed=1

Note: To import selected events to your calendar, you should click the “Add to calendar” link that you can use to download a single iCal file instead of all published events on this website.

Microsoft Outlook

1. Open your Outlook calendar, and select Add > From Internet.
2. Enter https://sites.gtiit.edu.cn/events/?mec-ical-feed=1 and select OK.
3. Outlook asks if you would like to add this calendar and subscribe to updates. Select Yes.
4. Your calendar items appear and will synchronize. Any calendar can be turned on/off in the Folder Pane. Select the arrow to overlay the calendar if you want.

Outlook on the web

1. Sign in to Outlook on the web, and then access https://outlook.office.com/calendar/.
2. Click Add Calendar on the left panel.
3. Select “Subscribe from Web“
4. Enterhttps://sites.gtiit.edu.cn/events/?mec-ical-feed=1 and select Import.
5. The system will ask you for a calendar name, and you can type GTIIT Events.
6. You can also choose a color, icon, and location for this calendar.
7. Select Import again, then all published events appear and will synchronize.
