Currently I’m working on a project for deepfake detection on media, which has been funded by the German government with the goal to improve the integrity of the digital world and fake news.
Our project (Cinematic Context Aware AI Image Detection) is led by a film director, and we introduce a novel detection approach leveraging expertise in cinematography and audiovisual arts. Unlike conventional methods focusing solely on technical inconsistencies, we utilize vision-language models (VLMs) to analyze images through artistic and cinematographic principles.
