Four articles were listed as \u201chighly cited\u201d; the most cited paper received 3687 citations. <\/span><\/p><p align=\"justify\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Publication List: <\/span><span style=\"color: #0563c1\"><u><a href=\"https:\/\/research.gtiit.edu.cn\/en\/persons\/harold-corke\/publications\/\"><span lang=\"en-US\">https:\/\/research.gtiit.edu.cn\/en\/persons\/harold-corke\/publications\/<\/span><\/a><\/u><\/span><\/p><p align=\"justify\"><span lang=\"en-US\">From ISI Web of Knowledge Essential Science Indicators for citations, i.e., the \u201ctop 1% list\u201d, I was ranked 122nd out of 434500 authors in the category of Agricultural Sciences. <\/span><\/p><p align=\"justify\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Named on the list of the World&#8217;s Top 2% Scientists 2022 released by Stanford University, in the &#8220;Career-Long Impact List&#8221;<\/span> and t<span lang=\"en-US\">he &#8220;Single-Year Impact List&#8221;(2022).<\/span><\/p><p align=\"justify\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Named on the list of the Best Scientists internationally in Biology and Biochemistry published by Research.com (2023).<\/span><\/p><p align=\"justify\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Editor of academic books \u201c<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><i>Encyclopedia of Grain Science<\/i><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">\u201d (2004) and \u201c<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><i>Encyclopedia of Food Grains<\/i><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">\u201d (January 2016) (Elsevier, Oxford) and Editor in Chief of the 3rd Edition \u201c<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><i>Encyclopedia of Food Grains<\/i><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">\u201d (under development from 2022).<\/span><\/p><p align=\"justify\"><span lang=\"en-US\">In charge of 14 national and provincial level projects, such as the NSFC General Program, Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Special Fund, Shanghai Science and Technology Innovation Action Plan, Shanghai Science and Technology Innovation Action Plan &#8211; International Cooperation Project, Hong Kong Research Grants Council GRF Projects, etc. <\/span><\/p><p align=\"justify\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Participated in 2 National Key R&amp;D Program \u201cFood Safety Key Technology Research and Development\u201d Special Funds of the 13th Five-Year Plan. <\/span><\/p><p align=\"justify\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Applied for 16 national invention patents, of which 8 have been authorized, including \u201cMethod of increasing the content of slowly digestible starch in rice flour\u201d, \u201cApplication of extracts of <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><i>Campsis grandiflora<\/i><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> in inhibiting the growth of Gram-positive bacteria\u201d, \u201cAnimal model construction method and application of Amy1 gene knockout mouse\u201d.<\/span><\/p><p align=\"justify\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Supervised 32 PhD, twenty 2-year research Master graduates and 7 postdocs. Most of them work as leaders in industry and as faculty in university, some becoming professors in famous universities and CEO in global ranked companies.<\/span><\/p><p align=\"justify\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Participated in more than 70 international academic conferences (invited, plenary or keynote talks).
