Please activate your Technion account to complete the set-up.<\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">Go to the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/techwww.technion.ac.il\/new-account\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Technion password self-service system<\/a>\u00a0and use your secret code to set a password. Read this instruction of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/sites.gtiit.edu.cn\/it\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/21\/2019\/12\/Technion-Network-Account-and-Email.pdf\" rel=\"noopener\">How to activate\/reset Technion account password<\/a>.<\/p><h4>Password Requirements<\/h4><ul><li>The password length is a minimum of 10 characters.<\/li><li>Password cannot contain the user\u2019s account name or parts of the user\u2019s full name that exceed two consecutive characters.<\/li><li>Password will have to be changed by the user on the existing anniversary of the last password change over the year.<\/li><li>Must contain characters from three of the following categories:<ul><li>European language uppercase alphabetic characters<\/li><li>European language lowercase alphabetic characters<\/li><li>Base 10 digits (0 through 9)<\/li><li>Non-alphabetic characters (for example, !, $, #, %)<\/li><li>Other alphabetic characters not included in the other categories<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>All users will need to provide three security questions and answers \u2013 This is the mechanism for password recovery.<\/li><\/ul><p>Please refer to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/sites.gtiit.edu.cn\/it\/home-2\/cybersecurity-and-it-policies\/password\/\">Password Page<\/a>\u00a0for more details of password protection.<\/p><h4>How long is your account valid for?<\/h4><p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">Staff have a Technion IT account for as long as they are employed by the University.
