Guangdong Technion &#8211; Israel Institute of Technology (GTIIT) achieved outstanding results, with 21 professors honored on the prestigious ranking &#8211; setting a new institutional record! Notably, some professors have consecutively appeared on the list for four years, fully demonstrating GTIIT faculty&#8217;s sustained academic influence and exceptional research innovation capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>The ranking is divided into two categories: the &#8220;Career-Long Impact List&#8221; and the &#8220;Single-Year Impact List&#8221;. Among the selected GTIIT scholars, 16 were included in the &#8220;Career-Long Impact List&#8221;, while<strong> 16 were named in the &#8220;Single-Year Impact List&#8221;<\/strong>. Notably, some professors <strong>appeared on both lists<\/strong>, including Prof. Aaron Ciechanover (Special Envoy of the Technion President to GTIIT), Prof. Ji-Dong Gu and Prof. Varenyam Achal from Environmental Science and Engineering Research Group, Prof. Dganit Danino and Prof. Harold Corke from Biotechnology and Food Engineering Program, Prof. Daniel Tan from Materials Science and Engineering Program, Prof. Ziyi Zhong, Prof. Peng Xu and Assoc. Prof. Xuezhong He from Chemical Engineering Program, Assoc. Prof. Dmitry Pashchenko from Mechanical Engineering Program, Prof. Oren Cohen from Physics Program, and Assoc. This broad spectrum reflects GTIIT&#8217;s robust interdisciplinary research ecosystem and its comprehensive scientific strength.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">The ranking, based on the Scopus database, employs a comprehensive evaluation system incorporating multiple metrics including citation counts, H-index, and HM-index. Annually selecting the world&#8217;s top 2% scientists from approximately 7 million global researchers, it aims to objectively assess scholars&#8217; long-term academic contributions and international impact. Currently, the university has gathered academic elites from over 30 countries and regions, with international faculty members exceeding 80% of the total. These distinguished scholars hail from top global institutions including Harvard University, Oxford University, MIT, Johns Hopkins University, University of Toronto, and National University of Singapore. This diverse composition not only ensures participation in global research networks and collaborations, but also guarantees teaching quality and research capabilities that meet the highest international standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>GTIIT scholars have consistently achieved cutting-edge breakthroughs, demonstrating robust capabilities and potential.
