On July 14th, Guangdong Technion-Israel Institute of Technology (GTIIT) held its Commencement For Graduates 2025 at the gymnasium of South Campus. Another cohort of GTIIT graduates set sail on new life journeys, witnessed by faculty and family members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chinese Ambassador to Israel Xiao Junzheng, Israeli Ambassador to China Eli Belotserkovsky, and Technion President Prof. Uri Sivan delivered speeches at the ceremony, praising GTIIT’s educational achievements and extending sincere wishes to the graduates. The guest of honor, Prof. Peretz Lavie, founding Chairman of GTIIT’s Board and former President of Technion, fondly recalled the founding journey of GTIIT and expressed his hopes for the university to achieve even greater success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also in attendance were representatives from the Shantou Municipal Government, Consulate General of Israel in Guangzhou, China-Israel Changzhou Innovation Park, Shantou University, Ji Hua Laboratory, Li Ka-shing Foundation, GTIIT board members, university leadership, parents, and media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GTIIT stands as a landmark achievement of China-Israeli educational collaboration, embodying the goodwill and aspirations of both governments and peoples. I am delighted to witness that, though young, GTIIT has achieved remarkable milestones in talent cultivation and scientific research. The Chinese Embassy in Israel and I will, as always, spare no effort to provide support and assistance for GTIIT’s continued growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the latest statistics, over 100 graduates have received more than 300 admission offers from nearly 100 universities worldwide, setting a new record once again! Nearly 60% of students gained admission to global top 10 universities; Over 70% were admitted to global top 30 universities; Over 80% were admitted to global top 50 universities; Over 90% were admitted to global top 100 universities. From GTIIT, these graduates embark on a journey of boundless possibilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
