In particular, I will discuss how the utilization of the perfect optical vortex (POV) beams as a pump can remove some of the constraints imposed on the gas-phase high harmonic generation (HHG) driven by Laguerre-Gaussian (LG) vortex beams [2]. Later, I will discuss how we extended our theoretical model from the gas-phase HHG to the solid-state HHG realm to describe the formation of high harmonic vortices from ZnO [3], and the possibility of generating a twisted attosecond pulse train [4].<\/p>\n
\n
Kumar Das, M.
