Abstract

hexagonal boron nitride nanosheet, as an isoelectronic analogue of graphene, possesses many unique properties, such as large surface area, high thermal conductivity, low density, high hydrophobicity, excellent electrical insulation and chemical stability, etc. This presentation will introduce the preparation and chemical modification of boron nitride nanosheets, which can be used as catalyst supports or reinforcement fillers of polymer nanocomposites. In addition, This presentation will also discuss the preparation and immobilization of transition metal nanoparticles on the doped two-dimensional materials for environmental and energy catalysis.
