The Laboratory of Surface Engineering and Corrosion, group of Asst. Prof. Aleksandra Baron-Wiechec is looking for scientists to lead exciting experimental research projects combining mass spectrometry with electrochemistry and electrochemical microscopy.\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\nWe work in a collaborative international environment, a working language is English.\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\nContract duration: Post-doc (up to 3 years), PhD (3+1 year), (DEMS)<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Anodizing station, chemistry lab space for sample preparation<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Electroanalytical methods, Potentiostat\/Galvanostat, Voltammetry, EIS<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Scanning Electrochemical Cell Microscopy (SECCM)<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Access to large user facilities (neutron\/synchrotron science facilities, ion beam accelerators)<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<span style=\"color: #1569ae\"><strong>Duties depend on the level of the appointment, but will be centred around:<\/strong><\/span>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>setting up and running the equipment (TDS, DEMS, SIMS, Electroanalytical methods)<\/li>\r\n \t<li>proposing an independent plan and conduct experiments in the areas of corrosion or electrochemistry, surface analysis, mass spectrometry and similar<\/li>\r\n \t<li>samples preparation and characterisation using various techniques<\/li>\r\n \t<li>guiding students and visiting researchers attaching to the research lab<\/li>\r\n \t<li>assisting the PI on preparation of research proposals applications and literature review of research papers\/reports programing or<\/li>\r\n \t<li>knowledge on the use of electrochemical methods to characterize corrosion processes, anodizing of metals, or<\/li>\r\n \t<li>practical knowledge of mass spectrometry or
