In my talk I will discuss main ideas behind quantum computing including some interesting mathematical problems.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0b71c6\"><strong>Biography<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Professor Adam Sawicki specializes (among others) in mathematics of quantum information theory. He received his PhD in Physics from the University of Warsaw in 2011 and PhD in Mathematics from the University of Bristol in 2014. In 2013-2015 he was Marie Curie fellow at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA. Since 2017 he is a professor in the Center for Theoretical Physics PAS.
