aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-1211\" tabindex=\"0\" hidden=\"false\"><p>Xuezhong He received both his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Zhengzhou University and his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in 2011. After that, He continuously worked as a postdoctoral research fellow and Researcher in the Department of Chemical Engineering of NTNU (2011-2016) and focused on membranes for CO<sub>2<\/sub> related separations based on experimental and process simulation. Before joining GTIIT, he was a Principal Investigator at NTNU (2017-2020) leading a large project on carbon membranes for CO<sub>2<\/sub> removal from high-pressure natural gas.<\/p><p>Prof. Xuezhong He\u2019s primary research interest is separation technology, particularly membranes for gas separations, such as membranes for post-combustion carbon capture, biogas upgrading, natural gas sweetening, and hydrogen purification as well as biomass to bioenergy. He has a solid background and knowledge in both material development (e.g., polymeric, facilitated transport, nanocomposite, and carbon membranes) and multi-scale simulations (molecular simulation, neural network, process simulation) for studying molecular design, thermodynamic properties prediction, and techno-economic feasibility analysis.<\/p><p>He has authored\/co-authored of &gt;70 papers (published in top journals of chemical engineering discipline such as Nat. Commun., Chem. Eng. J., AIChE J., J. Membr. Sci., Sep. Puri. Techno., I&amp;EC. Res. etc.),\u00a0one book, nice book chapters, and three patents, with the total citation of &gt;4400 times and an h-index of 32 (Google scholar).\u00a0He serves the Associate Editor of Frontiers in Energy Research (<strong>Advanced Clean Fuel Technologies Sector<\/strong>), Editorial Board of Separation and Purification Technology,\u00a0 Membranes, and Carbon Capture Science &amp; Technology.
