She worked as a Postdoc fellow at Department of Physics, Chemistry and Pharmacy (Sep. 2019 to Feb. 2022) and Department of Biology (Mar. 2022 to Feb. 2023) at University of Southern Denmark. During her Postdoc period, she conducted research work at Leibniz-Institute of Freshwater Ecology and Inland Fisheries (IGB), Germany as a guest researcher (April 2022). Qian joined GTIIT as an associate professor in March 2023.
