Guangdong Technion\u2013Israel Institute of Technology (GTIIT). He received his B.Eng. in Chemical Engineering from Dalian University of Technology and his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&amp;M University. After earning his Ph.D., he conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Wisconsin\u2013Madison and Argonne National Laboratory. He held a visiting postdoctoral position at Princeton University, a joint appointment at the University of Chicago, and a visiting scientist position at Hangzhou Gongshu Gongda Institute of Future Technology. Prior to joining GTIIT, he was an Assistant Professor in the School of Chemical Engineering at the University of Tulsa.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.3px\">Dr. Li&#8217;s research focuses on process systems engineering. His research develops methodologies integrating mathematical optimization, machine learning, molecular simulation, and techno-economic analysis for process intensification, integrated product and process design, biomass and plastic waste valorization, and sustainable energy system optimization. His research has been published in journals including <i>AIChE J.<\/i>, <i>Chem. Eng. Sci.<\/i>, <i>ACS Sustainable Chem. Eng.<\/i>, <i>Ind. Eng. Chem. Res.<\/i>, and <i>Nat. Energy<\/i>. He serves as a reviewer for <i>AIChE J.<\/i>, <i>Chem. Eng. Sci.<\/i>, <i>Comput. Chem.
