Faculty Activity Record

This webpage lists the faculty activity items that RIGS will capture after you have provided your Technion CV for our initial record.

Our current research information management system is powered by Elsevier Pure. Each faculty will have a user account to get access to the back-end of the system to edit and update your personal information as well as your research relevant information (publications, patents, grants/projects, prizes, public professional activities etc.).

Trainings will be provided to new faculty members by Research Information Service Team from RIGS office.

Your historical information on your Technion CV which is relevant to research will be integrated to RIMS, below types are included:

1. Public Professional Activities:
   •  Participating in or organizing an event
   • Talk or presentation
   • Membership
   • Publication peer-review and editorial work
   • Consultancy
2. Awards and Honors (Prizes)
3. Research Grants
4. Publications
5. Patents

For GTIIT affiliated information, Research Information Service Team will register relevant information on RIMS with following types in line with the notification of the new achievements from Research, Informatics and Graduate Studies (RIGS), Guangdong Technion Entrepreneurship Center (GTEC) and Academic Administration Office (AAO):

• Publications (It will be mainly auto-captured from Scopus database, you are encouraged to update with your new publications in the system directly.)
• Patents
• Research Grants
• Prizes

Regarding your information of the public professional activities, updating will be made on the basis of your annual Technion CV. You are also encouraged to update them directly in the system.

The data provided by the faculty members will be used for preparing various reports, such as application of key lab, application of key discipline, reports to the senior administration, reports to different levels of Chinese governments upon their requests.

We will collect your latest Technion CV annually (collection date: by the end of each December). Please high light the updates each time for our easier view and indicate if it’s GTIIT affiliated data.
