 The SECOND CIRCULAR

Energy and materials technologies are among the most dynamic areas in both fundamental research and industrial translation, underpinning critical sectors ranging from transport, aviation, and oil exploration to renewable energy and national power grids. To facilitate frontier exploration and academic exchange in the fields, we cordially invite experts from worldwide institutions and industries to attend the Second International Conference on Nano Energy and Technology (ICNEAT-2026) in Shantou from March 27 to March 30, 2026. This event is organized by Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratory of Materials and Technologies for Energy Conversion (MATEC), Guangdong Technion-Israel Institute of Technology (GTIIT), assisted by Materials Science and Engineering Department and China-Israel Jizhi Technology Co. It will center around the themes of Energy storage, Dielectric materials, Molecular electronics and Spintronics, Inorganic materials under extreme conditions, and AI materials and energy. We look forward to welcoming you in Shantou, where you can facilitate in-depth academic exchanges and experience the charm of the southern region of China.

About GTIIT and MATEC

GTIIT is a Sino-foreign cooperative university with an independent legal personality co-founded in 2016 by the Guangdong Provincial Government and the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, located in Shantou City. It is the only Israeli high-quality higher education institution in China using English as its working language. The university comprehensively introduces the educational resources of Technion, the world’s top polytechnic, to carry out education and teaching innovation, and to cultivate outstanding engineers and scientific and technological talents with innovative abilities, global vision, and humanistic qualities. In 2018, Guangdong Technion-Israel Institute of Technology was selected for the Guangdong Province High-level University Construction Plan, cultivating both undergraduate and graduate students. MATEC is a Guangdong Provincial Key Lab funded by the Guangdong Science and Technology Department to carry out research on materials and technologies for energy conversion, serving the technology and talent needs of Shantou region, Guangdong, and China.
