Amit Shlomo received a prestigious prize for his contribution to education from the Faculty of Education in Science and Technology at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. The award is presented to outstanding students who demonstrate a deep commitment to education and aims to nurture the next generation of leaders and researchers in science, who are expected to strengthen the education system through key roles in the coming decade.
Amit is investigating students’ attitudes toward face-to-face and online learning by examining the effects of various course designs. At GTIIT, he developed a teaching platform that enhances face-to-face learning through the integration of online lesson recordings for review purposes. Students’ perspectives are collected through questionnaires and interviews to better understand their learning patterns, engagement, and motivation—insights that may help inform and improve future course designs.
