We are pleased to announce that Professor Ivan Savenko, from the Physics Department at GTIIT, has been selected for two prestigious grants: the Foreign Experts Project Grant and the Guangdong General Grant from the Guangdong NSF, as well as the National Natural Science Foundation of China – Research Fund for International Excellent Young Scientists (NSFC RFIS-II), 2025.

These awards recognize Dr. Savenko’s contributions to the field of light–matter interactions, quantum condensed matter physics, and two-dimensional materials, and will further enable his group to pursue cutting-edge investigations in these areas.

The Physics Department and GTIIT extend their congratulations to Dr. Savenko on this achievement, which highlights both his scientific excellence and the growing international impact of our research community.
