Title: Perfect Imaging from the Perspective of Time Travel
Speaker: Huanyang Chen
Xiamen University, Xiamen 361005, China
Abstract
In this talk, I will discuss new methods for achieving various types of perfect imaging by combining transformation optics [1] and Maxwell’s fisheye lens [2], based on several commonly used cosmological metrics [3, 4]. In particular, it will explore the construction of new theories in transformation optics and absolute instruments, especially in hyperbolic materials [5] from the perspective of time travel.
