Guidelines for the Department of Interdisciplinary Sciences special project “Research on the Internal Logic and the Law of development of Natural Sciences”
(1) The funding research fields
The project to be funded should include the following content:
- Systematically sort out the systems of the basic disciplines of natural sciences, explain the logic and laws of the development of natural sciences, and enhance the understanding and cognition of interdisciplinary sciences;
- Through the analysis of typical cases in the history of scientific development, explain the sources of academic thought and scientific paradigm changes behind major scientific discoveries that affect the development of human history, which should focus on their long-term impact on the development of natural sciences and provide references for scientists to enhance strengthen their innovation capabilities;
- By sorting out the knowledge structure and logic as well as the analysis of typical cases, publish a series of textbooks and scientific writing to promote the development of popular science in China.
(2) Duration and funding level
The funding period of this special project is 1 year, and the project implementation period should be filled in as “From January 1, 2023, to December 31, 2023”, the average funding is 500,000 yuan/project, and this program plans to fund 1 to 2 projects.
(3) Application Requirements
- Experience in undertaking basic research projects.
- Have a senior professional and technical position (title).
Postdoctoral researchers work at the doctorate station, those who are studying for graduate degrees, and those who do not work in a dependent organization are not allowed to apply as applicants.
