Chemistry Analytical Instrumentation Core is equipped with both conventional and advanced analytical instruments, including NMR, MALDI-TOF,   GC-MS, HPLC and GPC. These instruments are not isolated units; rather, they function as an integrated system that complements and supports one another. As we know, service laboratories play a critical role in the university’s research mission by providing students, researchers, and faculty with essential resources and technical support.

Our aim is to establish a comprehensive analytical service platform that offers multidimensional analytical capabilities from compound composition analysis and identification to detailed chemical structure elucidation—providing complete characterization services for synthetic organic compounds, biomolecules or macromolecules.

The NMR facility operates as an open-access laboratory. For new users, we provide training to operate the NMR system in full automated mode. The MALDI-TOF system, combined with Mascot search engine, enables reliable protein identification by matching mass spectral data to primary sequence databases. Polymerix software enable the determination of polymer structure information directly from the mass spectral data.
