Introduction:

Axio Scan is an automated slide scanner for brightfield and fluorescence microscopy. Up to 100 slides can be loaded and scanned with 10x/0.45, 20x/0.8 or 40x/0.95 objectives. Axio Scan.Z1 features high numerical aperture dry objectives for high resolution and is able to scan whole 3D volumes.

Advantages:

• Holds up to 100 normal glass slides, and also double-width slides.
• It can image both bright-field (e.g. H&E slides) and up to 4-colour fluorescent samples (405, 488, 556 and 633 nm excitation).
• Setup wizard to guide users through optimizing image acquisition and autofocus parameters.
• Once setup, the system can be left for unattended automated scanning e.g. overnight
