After completing his PhD in Chemistry at the Technion in October 2020, Dr. Xuan Zhan pursued postdoctoral training at the School of Medicine, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) from January 2021 to June 2023. He then worked as an independent researcher at the BGI Life Science Institute from June 2023 to February 2024, followed by a second postdoctoral position in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Sun Yat-sen University from April 2024 to May 2026. Dr. Zhan joined GTIIT as an Associate Professor in June 2026. His research group at GTIIT will focus on molecular engineering and the application of corrole based materials and molecules in energy related photo(electro)catalysis and biomedicine.
