Dr. Youhua Jiang received his B.S. from the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology in 2012, and both his M.S. and Ph.D. from the Stevens Institute of Technology in 2014 and 2018, respectively. He then conducted two years’ postdoctoral training at Northwestern University before joining the Mechanical Engineering department of GTIIT as an Associate Professor in October 2020. Dr. Youhua Jiang specializes in Interfacial Phenomena with an emphasis on Soft and Smart Interfacial Phenomena, which involves three major directions: (1) droplet dynamics, (2) droplet statics, and (3) surface engineering. His works (more than 40 papers) were mostly published in leading journals in Interfacial Phenomena and those as the first or corresponding authors are mostly published at Physical Review Letters, Physical Review Fluids, Langmuir, Soft Matter, Journal of Colloid and Interface Science, Applied Physics Letters, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, etc. He received multiple grants in National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and Guangdong province. He also served as the editorial board member at Surface Innovations (JCR Q2), reviewers for more than 30 journals, and the reviewer for NSFC.
