The Materials Science and Engineering Program (group of CHA) is welcome students to apply for graduate (Master and PhD) program to conduct experimental research projects in Materials Characterizations and Analysis. Successful graduates will be awarded academic degrees from Guangdong Technion and Technion (Haifa)-Israel Institute of Technology.
Our group extensively uses state-of-the-art Electron Microscopes as the research tools to study the correlations between microstructure, chemical composition and properties of materials. The materials systems involved encompass, but are not limited to metals, films, energy materials, and biomaterials. Scanning Electron Microscope, Focused Ion/Electron DualBeam Microscope and Transmission Electron microscope are major instruments used in our research, as well as related software for patterns and spectroscopies analysis. Simulation and/or Tomography will be involved in some subprojects. We work in a collaborative environment, good cooperation and active communication are necessary.
- Master degree (or equivalent) in Material Science and engineering, Physics or Chemistry is requested for PhD (essential). Background in metals, ceramics, films biomaterials and is preferable.

- Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in related field is requested for Master (MSc). Interested and self-motivated students can move up to PhD program.

- Experiences in Electron Microscope, such as SEM, FIB, or TEM, and sample preparation are preferable.

- Good communication skills；good command of spoken English.

- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
既能独立完成工作，也擅长于团队合做。
- Ability to author scientific reports and co-author scientific publications in English.
