The research group focuses on the study of dissolved organic matter, aiming to develop energy-saving and emission-reduction technologies for wastewater and solid waste treatment and disposal, with a particular emphasis on the migration and transformation mechanisms of dissolved organic matter. Due to research needs, we are now openly recruiting 2–4 master's/doctoral students from both domestic and international candidates. - Background in GIS, Ecology, Environment, Agronomy, Biology, Chemistry, or other related disciplines.
- For PhD applicants: Experience in publishing or co-authoring high-quality SCI-indexed papers.
- Strong execution capability and innovative thinking, with the ability to conduct independent research under the guidance of the supervisor.
- Good teamwork spirit and communication skills, with strong English expression and writing abilities.
- Applicants with research experience in biological wastewater treatment or resource utilization of organic solid waste will be given priority.
- Master's application requirements: Undergraduate GPA of 82 or above; PhD application requirements: Master's GPA of 85 or above (requirements may be relaxed for those with exceptional research achievements).
- Under equal conditions, priority will be given to applicants with valid IELTS, TOEFL, or GRE scores.

- 同等条件下，优先考虑有雅思、托福或GRE有效成绩的申请者。

Guangdong Technion – Israel Institute of Technology (GTIIT) was officially established with the approval of the Ministry of Education of China in December 2016 and began enrollment in 2017. It awards Bachelor's degrees (triple certificates: GTIIT graduation certificate, GTIIT degree certificate, and Technion degree certificate), Master's, and Doctoral degrees (Technion degree certificate, recognized as an overseas degree). GTIIT is the first Sino-foreign cooperative university in China with independent legal person status to introduce high-quality Israeli higher education resources, and it represents a flagship project of educational cooperation between China and Israel. The university fully introduces the high-quality educational resources of the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. The Technion is responsible for the recruitment and management of academic staff, who hold dual appointments at both GTIIT and the Technion. Approximately 60% of the faculty are seconded from the Technion, and over 80% are international scholars. Since its establishment, GTIIT was included in Guangdong Province's "High-Level University Development Program" in its second year, making it the youngest university selected for this program. Its Environmental Science and Engineering discipline is designated as a "Key Construction Discipline" within the province's high-level university initiative.
广东以色列理工学院于2016年12月由教育部批准正式设立，2017年开始招生，授予学士（三证：广东以色列理工学院毕业证、学位证和以色列理工学院学位证）、硕士和博士学位（以色列理工学位证，海外学位），是我国第一所引进以色列优质高等教育资源的具有独立法人资格的中外合作大学，也是我国与以色列在教育领域合作的代表性项目。学校全面引进以色列理工学院优质教育资源，以色列理工学院本部负责教职人员的招聘和管理，教职人员授予广东以色列理工学院和以色列理工学院双聘岗位，其中以色列理工学院本部派遣人员占比60%，外籍人员占比80%以上。广东以色列理工学院自成立第二年即被列入广东省“高水平大学建设计划”，成为入选该项计划最年轻的高校，其环境科学与工程学科为广东省“高水平大学重点建设学科”。
