Professor Zhong Ziyi's research group is recruiting 1-2 students for master's and doctoral degree (GS-2019007)

Students for Master’s and Doctoral Degree

Requirement for both PhD/Master

– Strong background in one or two of the following areas: chemical engineering, and heterogeneous catalysis.

– Strong interest to work temporarily in overseas labs (essential).

– Good communication skills, good command of English: reading, writing and talking (essential).

– Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment (essential).

– Ability to author scientific reports and co-author scientific publications (essential).

– The candidate must fulfill the requirements for admission to the Technion Graduate School and needs to comply with its regulations leading to the PhD/MSc degree.

博士、硕士研究生招生: 所有硕、博士均授于以色列理工学院学位,本课题组现有1-2个博士和硕士招生名额。

硕博士研究方向主要为催化化学(尤其是环境催化, 废水处理, 纳米催化剂的研究)。具化学工程背景尤其受欢迎。

 广东汕头.双导师制,在Technion 也有一合作导师。在以色列本部Technion上一部分课和/或做一部分研究.

MSc:

6.导师(课题组)

钟子宜(正教授)简介
先后在武汉大学和南京大学获本科、硕士和博士 学位(1995),之后在以色列、美国和 新加坡从事5 年博士后研究,以及在新加坡化学化工研究院从事16年的科研工作。在新期间与美国, 日本和英国几个大公司从事10余年工业项目的合作研究, 和在新加坡南洋理工大学兼职副教授等。迄今已在国际杂志发表论文约200余篇, 被引用约12100 余次, 申请专利10件, 被授权5件(包括2美国专利)。 其研究方向包括催化化学 (尤其是环境催化, 废水处理, 纳米催化剂的研究),表面化学和超声化学等。

科研工作

除工业项目外, 其研究包括金催化剂的合成和应用、 多孔纳米结构材料的制备和应用、CO2 的贮存和催化转化、电化学能源转化储存材料、工业废水的处理、电子垃圾的回收等。

其具代表性研究成果如下:

(1)首次用氨基酸为助剂合成系列高分散金属催化剂。

(2)CO2 的贮存和催化转化。
