Position Title: Research Fellow (Postdoctoral)

Position Description:
The postdoctoral research fellow will focus on developing CFD capabilities for simulating wind farms under diverse wind flow conditions, including varying stratification and Coriolis effect, for farms in offshore and hilly regions. The candidate will collaborate with team members to analyze wind farm flows, develop wake models, integrate these models with mesoscale weather prediction systems for real-time applications, and design control strategies to optimize wind farm layout and operation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Development of simulation capabilities for wind farm digital twins in complex environments
- Publish work in high impact journals and present at reputed international conferences
- Support graduate students in the research group
- Maintain GPU clusters in the group and help with procuring new clusters
- Help the PI with other research tasks
- Required qualification / academic degree: PhD in computational fluid dynamics and related area.
- Required experience: Experience in high performance computing is a must. Experience in boundary layer simulations, and GPU computations are desirable.
Required Job Competencies:
- Language ability:C, C++, and Fortran.
- Proven publication track record.
- Ability to work in a team.
