The main objective of the project is to (1) Catalytic hydrogenation of biomass or biomass-derived platform molecules into high-value chemicals, with application in polymer, cosmic, pharmaceutical, and food, (2) Novel catalysts preparation and Characterization (3) DFT investigation of catalytic mechanism.

- PhD or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Material Engineering, or in a relevant engineering and Science discipline (no more than 5 years after completed the doctoral degree) 化学工程、化学、材料工程或相关工程和科学学科的博士或者硕士学位 (完成博士学位后不超过5年)
- Strong background in catalysis (preferable) 具有较好的催化研究背景(优先)
