Individuals with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited academic institution, whose GPA is not lower than 75 (or a corresponding grade), may apply. Each department has the right to determine requirements that are greater than the minimum requirements (most departments require a GPA of at least 83). Specific information can be found on the departments’ websites under their corresponding “Graduate Programs” section.
GRE – For the following programs: Nano Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Autonomous Systems and Robotics. For the department of Chemistry, applicants might be required to take the GRE, depending upon the decision of the committee following the interview. For the department of Physics, the GRE (general and Physics test) is recommended but not required. We require a minimum of 80% in the quantitative part and 3.0 in the analytical part. Candidates with a Master’s degree who studied at the Technion or an accredited academic institution, whose average grades and the grade on the thesis manuscript are not lower than 80, may apply. Each unit has the right to determine requirements that are greater than the minimum requirements (most departments require a minimum GPA of 85 in courses and a minimum thesis grade of 85). Specific information can be found on the department’s web site under their corresponding “Graduate Programs” section.
