eduroam
There are several wireless networks available in the campus. The network which you should use to connect laptops, tablets and phones is ‘eduroam’. The eduroam service provides internet access at GTIIT and other academic institutions across China and in many countries around the world. If you have connected your devices to eduroam here at GTIIT, it will automatically connect to another eduroam network when you visit other eduroam participating institutions. 登录指引：连接eduroam时，请注意用户名的格式为username@gtiit.edu.cn。
Note: Each account is permitted to login up to five(5) devices. For the safety of your email, research achievements, homework, reputation, and other valuable information, you should NEVER share your account with other people.
Here are some instructions of eduroam connection for various devices.
iPhone/iPad
1. 进入设置> Wi-Fi，选择eduroam
2. Type in your GTIIT login details and press join.
3.在证书提示上选择“接受”
Android
1. 在手机上选择“无线及网络”
2. 选择“无线网络”
3. 选择eduroam
4. 设置连接配置:
EAP=PEAP
Phase2=MSCHAPV2
CA Certificate: Do not validate
5. 输入你的网络账号和密码，当提示时点击“连接”。
Windows笔记本和Surface系统
1. 在网络连接里选择eduroam
2. Type in your GTIIT login details if you are asked, and press Connect
3. 在系统提示符上选择“连接”
Note: Each account is permitted to login up to 5 devices, for cybersecurity reason you
should NEVER share your account with other people.
GTIIT-STU
无线网 GTIIT-STU is provided by Shantou University (STU), and subject to STU policies, daily traffic is restricted to 1.5 GB.

打开浏览器，进入登录页面http://a.stu.edu.cn，使用您的GTIIT网络帐号和密码进行登录。
GTIIT-Guest
如参加GTIIT大型活动的访客，请向IT部门查询GTIIT- Guest连接邀请码。
GTIIT VPN（从校外访问校内网络资源）
GTIIT VPN是一个虚拟的专用网络服务，提供一个安全的通道让用户从校外（如家里的WiFi）连接到大学校园网络，获取一些通常只能在校园网才可使用的资源。换句话说，当使用GTIIT VPN服务时，访问所有GTIIT的内部资源、Technion以色列网站和一些学术网站(如谷歌Scholar)的信息时，数据将通过GTIIT的网络进行加密传输，就像在校内使用网络一样。而其他非GTIIT的流量将直接从用户的本地互联网连接进行传输。
