Smart Learning services aim to help students reach their academic potential by promoting one-on-one tutoring, peer-to-peer learning or small group tutoring, and reframing peer tutoring as an extension of the classroom experience.
WHAT IS PEER TUTORING PROGRAM?
Peer Tutoring Program offers essential opportunities for GTIIT undergraduates to consult trained Peer Tutors on the subject and academic learning in different areas of need, particularly in chemical engineering, materials science engineering, biology and food engineering, mathematics, computer science, and mechanical engineering.

HOW CAN PEER TUTORS HELP YOU?
Since 2021, we have over 50 outstanding Peer Tutors from 5 majors. Our Peer Tutors will
- Conduct one-on-one tutoring, peer-to-peer learning, or small group tutoring;
- Lead learning tasks with a group of up to 6 students. All group members join in a group tutoring task together;
- inform you about the FREE tutoring resources available at GTIIT;
- motivate you to succeed by overcoming difficulties and challenges;
- and help you build up skills for effective and strategic academic learning.

Our goal is to empower our students by engaging them with learning tasks to strengthen their learning experience and develop their academic achievement. We also assist our students with the learning methods, skills, and processes to help them become self-regulated, cooperative, and strategic learners.
