GT track & field team students in the 38th STU Sports Day

The Guangdong Technion-Israel Institute of Technology (GTIIT) Track & Field Team made a remarkable showing at the 38th Student Sports Day (STU), held on Dec 4-5^th , with their exceptional performance and determination shining through in every event. The team's achievements not only brought pride to GTIIT but also demonstrated the spirit of sportsmanship and the pursuit of excellence that defines the institute.

The 38th STU Sports Day was a gathering of the region's finest student athletes, and GTIIT's Track & Field Team was well-prepared to face the challenge. The team's rigorous training and commitment to excellence paid off as they secured multiple top positions in various track and field events, including pentathlon, long-distance races, relays, and field events such as shot put, and javelin throw.

The 2 days was filled with thrilling moments and impressive performances from the GTIIT athletes. Among the standout achievements were as below:

Compared to last year, GTIIT students have achieved more breakthroughs in both the number and variety of awards this year. Jiang Yuhui, a GTIIT student who has won the men's pentathlon championship for two consecutive years, expressed his excitement and stated that, whether in academic research or physical training, perseverance is always essential. He looks forward to competing again next year and bringing more honors to GTIIT.
