Need-base Tuition Waiver Policy for 2022

GTIIT hopes that outstanding high school graduates with excellent academic performance and high aspirations will not be deprived of the opportunity to study and develop at GTIIT due to financial reasons. To this end, for students in need in this regard, after providing true and complete documentation of their family's financial situation as required, GTIIT will provide waiver for the full tuition (i.e. 95,000 RMB/academic year) or half tuition (i.e. 47,500 RMB/academic year) based on a comprehensive evaluation of the student's specific situation.

Students who successfully enroll in GTIIT can also apply for national student loans, national bursaries, and national encouragement scholarships. In addition, GTIIT offers on-campus work-study opportunities to further help reduce the financial burden of students. These financial relief initiatives can be combined with the tuition waiver.

This policy is applicable to GTIIT undergraduates enrolled in 2022. Final decisions are subject to the GTIIT Scholarship Committee.
