GTIIT 1st Teachers Learning from Teachers Study Day Conference

The Guangdong Technion-Israel Institute of Technology (GTIIT) is proud to announce the first-ever "GTIIT 1st Teachers Learning from Teachers Study Day", a conference dedicated to the advancement of English language teaching methodologies within the unique context of Sino-Foreign educational institutions in China.  

The conference, scheduled for September 19, 2024, aims to bring together a diverse group of English language educators to engage in a day of professional development, networking, and collaborative learning. Educators from all Sino-Foreign universities are welcome to attend and discuss the challenges and strategies of teaching English as “a first language” in Sino-foreign universities.

Conference Objectives

• ·       Discuss the specific challenges faced in teaching English as a first/main language in Sino-foreign universities.
• ·       Share effective teaching methodologies and best practices.
• ·       Foster collaboration and network among educators and institutions.
• ·       Develop strategies to improve English language education in these unique educational settings.

Registration

Interested participants will submit a brief proposal by August 23, 2024 to Miki Steiner, Head of GTIIT English Program, at michal.steiner@gtiit.edu.cn.
